History

It all started at the year 1988 at a small kitchen behind a double-terraced house at Klang. Our founder, a man of impetuous passion was busy producing keropok lekor with love and care under the company name Perniagaan Makanan Kitasama(大家食品公司). He took a great pride in work, ensuring the products were sold fresh on the same day it was made. As the business started to pick up the pace steadily in local market, there was the inevitable need to move to a bigger facility, therefore a new 9000 sqft factory was purchased for expansion. This new facility come with semi-automatic machine to achieve the optimum between quality and production in order to meet customers’ needs. This decision changed the course of their business and resulted in the brand known today as Kitasama Food Sdn Bhd.

Since our inception in 1988, started with a motorbike for delivery, with the determination and efforts the brand successfully expanded into a manufacturing factory which daily produces a varies of freshly quality Keropok to the market.

While still hold clear to tradition, we also realise the importance of innovation. That‘s the reason why we improved and integrated from traditional methods of producing with hightech machinery technologies which able to maintain the best quality of products.Today our Keropok Lekor is one of the leading manufacturer of this product category in Malaysia. Besides that, we have the perfect taste of chilli to perfect match with our perfect quality of our Keropok too!

Our factory adheres to strict food safety guidelines, All our products are Halal-certified by JAKIM. We pride ourselves in using only the finest ingredients and our commitment to producing quality good that uniquely fulfil every people.
